The Universidad Nacional, Costa Rica (UNA), the College of Philosophy and Arts (Facultad de Filosofía y Letras), and the School of Literature and Language Sciences (Escuela de Literatura y Ciencias del Lenguaje) are pleased to invite you to the VII International Conference on Applied Linguistics (Congreso Internacional de Lingüística Aplicada, CILAP) that will be held on October 25th through the 28th,  2022, at the Omar Dengo Campus in Heredia, Costa Rica.

As with previous editions, this version of CILAP provides a space for researchers, teacher trainers, and students to share their ideas, research findings, innovative approaches to teaching and research, and reflections on their professional practice. Although some of the topics will be a continuation and will open new perspectives on topics addressed in previous CILAP editions, the variety and relevance of current topics in this version of the conference are evidence of the richness of the realm of Applied Linguistics and Literature.
