Jorge Aguilar Sánchez
Jorge Aguilar-Sánchez is an Associate Professor (Profesor II) in Linguistics at the School of Literature and Langaue Sciences (Escuela de Literatura y Ciencias del Lenguaje). Dr. Aguilar-Sánchez has taught at the University of Dayton, Ohio, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Wisconsin both in the USA, and the Universidad de Costa Rica Sede del Sur. He has a Ph.D. in TESOL and Applied Linguistics and a Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics with concentrations in sociolinguistics and research methodology. He has published his work in internationa and nationalo professional journals. He has presented his work in national and international conferences in Linguistics, TESOL, and Research Methodology. He has been teaching for over 30 years, 20 of which has been in Higher Education.
